Some code bugs happen in weird ways, which can seem random at first if you don't know what the cause is. Here is a very good example:

In that case, the solution was not to just uninstall and reinstall. You had to make a change to the PS3 that you were installing on. Not quite the same thing.


You have totally missed the point of what I said. I'm not saying this is in any way similar to that bug, just giving you an example of how some bugs can seem totally random. This would explain why reinstalling could solve the problem. Rockstar is not stupid.
