Tony Hawk himself is at this year’s E3 and recently spoke to Geoff Keighley over on the Youtube stream.
Tony himself is an avid gamer and describes his experiences with the games as being fun and reveals that he’s been working with developer Robomondo to get the gameplay back to its former glory.
The Hawkster also revealed that we’ll be able to play online with up to 20 other players. Yes. Twenty other players. Seems a bit excessive to be honest, but we’ll have to wait and see what it entails, though Tony does say that the online mode is something that “nobody will have expected” and that it’s very different to what is expected.
There will also be a few fan-favourite skate-areas from past games such as Warehouse from Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 as well as a whole bunch of a new tracks.
The game is apparently very close to being finished and is feeling “pretty good” in terms of gameplay but the refinements are the focal point at this time.
It’s due out later this year, so lets hope it lives up to our expectations. Please Activision, don’t let it suck all the balls.
