From what I saw in a multiplayer vid, the weapon attacks are more realistic for the weapons they're using.

Some things seems like pure fantasy moves (like spinning around and slicing your enemy; that's a sure way to get run threw by a sword), but other thing seem pretty genuine, like how the European knight at one point more or less uses the sword as a hammer, holding on to the actual blade
