I think the install base is limiting it IMHO.

What I guess I'm trying to get at is that games like these are successful in part because of word-of-mouth advertising. I think it's why games like Minecraft and LittleBigPlanet have fantastic legs.

Say, for example, someone was able to somehow mess with the engine of the game well enough that they managed to make an 8-bit classic RPG in the game. That person could then upload it to Youtube so that a lot of people could see it. Those people then think, "Wow, that's really amazing. I didn't know you could do that with that game." And then they go out and buy the game.

I also think this game would benefit greatly from a twenty dollar price point -- or even a free-to-play model. At a lower price point, more people would buy the game and it would build a community that would be beneficial to the game in the long run. At 40 or even 60 dollars (which is what Amazon has it listed at -- yikes), the appeal is too limited for the investment.
