It is VR. Worse than that, you brain expect you to be still while you are moving. Baby cars? Do you have a slight notion of what physics is? It doesn't matter how smooth the car or the road are, you feel the outwards acceleration in curves. The only way your labyrinth won't get any info is on a perfectly straight road with no curves and a car on a constant speed (if you change it, your inner ear will get it).
