No it's like telling political parties or sports fans to stop generalizing each other as well which I do all the time when talking to them.
What I really hate is everyone taking what you say to the extreme.
For instance if I say something like "Sony has some great exclusives coming up. I think I like their line up the best."
Someone will inevitably respond "Xbox has games too! Get off your high horse and realize that people can have different tastes!"
Meanwhile I already made it clear that it was just my preference and never mentioned a lack of games on any other platform.
Same thing with Nintendo where I'll say their games aren't so head and shoulders above everyone else's as some like believe even though I'm a WiiU owner
Response: "Oh look another Nintendo hater. What too kiddy for you? Go back to COD and Madden!"
Meanwhile I'm buying and enjoying Nintendo games and skipping on those 2. I just happen to like Playstation first party stuff more. There's a reason I bought both lol
