Regardless of whether it's called 'technically dead' or not, could I ask you to change it please. I know you may love it but it really does bother me. I'm not attacking your choice here, just asking if you'll change it for people like myself who 'feel' something for the poor creature. It genuinely bothers me emotionally.

It's an actual dish served in Japan. I'll tell you what though, if you still feel that way tomorrow, I'll change it. I want to at least be able to use it for a day.

Plus, it's moving by a muscle reaction, it's really dead (its brain is separated from the body so it can't feel pain). So he doesn't need to feel bad or sorry for the squid. xD
