Harsh, and a quite a bit stupid. How many Japanese companies are doing what Apple and Microsoft are doing? The answer for that is 0. As of October 2014, of the 20 most profitable companies in the world, companies from the US held the 19th, 16th, 15th, 12th, 11th, 10th (Microsoft), 5th and 2nd (Apple) spots. A Company from Japan holds the 17th, and it's not Namco Bandai (It's Toyota)
