You know race isn't colour right? Racism is discrimination against someone because of where they are from/their ancesteral origins. So yes, you can be racist to an American because they are from America.

You should really look at the true meaning of "race".

American is a nationality (if referring to someone born in the USA) or a geographical distribution if referring to the continent. And so can be considered a race.

Xenophobia is considering that your own race is inherently superior to all others (or a fear of all other races), and so also racist by definition.

Xenophobia is the fear of something not of your kind. Humans views of Mutants in X Men for example.
