I do think this game seems to have a bigger BUZZ.. But picking a summer release makes me think they don't think its going to be a HUGE seller.. As June/July/August are DEAD times for gaming.. And the game is available on X1.. Its not an EXCLUSIVE.. so no reason the bundle is really that big of a deal.. It will sell well.... But I feel like a 1TB X1 with NEW controller is a "bigger" sale pusher.. maybe not.. we will see... |
It's very likely it's going to be big for the PS4. We all saw how quickly preorders of the limited edition bundle disappeared on Amazon multiple times. Abdiel also echoed this phenomenon in one his assessments on GAF (he's in charge of Best Buy) and he described the situation as "almost comical". The only thing that will hold the bundles and Batman back is availablility.
