Some games do get announcements that take 2 or 3 games to be released.

Also Sunset Overdrive was revealed in 2013 and it was released one year later.

Yes and LBP3 was released 4 months after announcement. But for every 1 game at E3 press conference thats like this there are 4-5 that are CGI videos of games that more than likely have barely started development.
