Not sure if anyone noticed this yet or have posted a thread already about it but if you look on steam you will see gta5 on "sale" for..... $60. I didnt understand this at frist but a recent readdit seems to be right on the money.

Rockstar has removed GTAV from the Steam store and replaced it with bundles as the only way to purchase it, as a means to still get full price while 'participating' in the Steam sale.

"Sucks for anyone hoping to get GTAV on PC. I have a hard time justifying the fact they made us wait two years to buy a two year old game and still expected full price in addition to microtransactions in the first place.

Then going 'on sale' by including in-game money for GTAO and their least-popular 11-year-old GTA game and STILL pushing people to pay a $60USD price tag is ludicrous.

Edit: Re-added to the store as a standalone title some time after this post was made, listed at $84.97 with 30% off, making it $59.89. Still price gouging, still shitty."

really does suck ive been waiting for months for the summer sale just for this game... :P probably not missing too much. this is lower then activision with call of duty

edit: and from armedgamer.com, they noted that "At the beginning of the sale, GTA V was priced at $30, down from the usual price of $59.99. Sadly, there wasn’t a lot of time to enjoy the moment –  just minutes after the sale began, the page was updated and the deal had vanished, revealing that the game’s price had been dramatically hiked up to $80.00"
