Sony is also helping to develop the game. Part of the engine is being made by Sony.

So that pretty much seals the deal... : / Dunno why people would expect a port.

It was the subsequent Super/Ultra etc version that people were expecting to possibly come to Xbox.
Even if Sony are helping with the development, I imagined they reached a deal where Capcom only recieved enough funds to warrant making the first itteration of the game exclusive, as I thought making it multiplatform would be a high priority for Capcom, and one that Sony understood as well, and would settle for making the first itteration of the game exclusicve to boost console sales.
Doesn't seem to be the case now though.

Wasn`t that also the case with SF4U? I thought Sony helped in bringing over that version exclusively to PS4...?
