Most E3 predictions fall into one of two types: overly conservative predictions that basically identify all of the "obvious" things, and overly hyped predictions that generally disconnect, at least slightly, from reality.

This thread challenges you to straddle the line. It challenges you to make E3 predictions that are seriously unlikely, but still fairly plausible. Don't predict that Star Fox will be shown off with an official title - that's far too obvious. Don't predict that Microsoft will announce that they're making a Banjo Kazooie MMORPG - it's just not going to happen.

The aim, here, is to try to make a prediction that most people would say "not going to happen" to, but that you think will actually happen (or at least, you think has a better shot than most people would think). Can you pick the big surprises?

Have you ever seen the British game show "Pointless"? It's kind of like that (although there won't be any kind of scoring system - unless others have a good idea for how it should be run).

And with that, let the predictions begin.

I'll start with my own - three predictions that I think just might happen, but that most people would call somewhat out-there:

1. Nintendo announce a new Murasame Castle, in development with Koei Tecmo - featuring a blend of Samurai Warriors and Ninja Gaiden gameplay styles.

2. Tekken X Street Fighter confirmed for Wii U release, announced alongside the announcement that Ryu and Jin Kazama will both be playable in Smash as DLC characters - Ryu by the end of July, Jin Kazama by the end of the year.

3. Platinum's new game, to be shown off through IGN, will be The Wonderful 102 (not a predicted name, just referring to a TW101 sequel)... which will feature Amiibo support, with classic Nintendo characters unlockable in the game by scanning the appropriate Amiibo. Wonder BigBro, Wonder LilBro, Wonder Koopa, Wonder Angel, Wonder Dog... you get the idea.
