Can a studio really release a game every year and it lives up to the quality that a AAA game should be? CoD only survives as an annual franchise because there were 2 studios alternating, which means a 2 year cycle. Now there are 3 studios right? So that means each game gets a 3 year gestation. if From wants annual releases then they need 2 separate dev teams. Fifa survives because its soccer and how different can soccer be from one year to the next? Same with MLB and other sports franchises. |
From has 227 employees. That's enought to divide into two team and work on a 2-3 year cycle.
