They want to get people Hyped before E3 for their company so everyone is trying to be "the last to be leaked before E3" --->Many Announcements. Sincerly I think what Nintendo did whith the Sakurai Mini-Direct for the 14th June is a little bit smarter, they give something that gets people fangirling but Isn't a brand NEW game right before other companys E3 press conferences and after those there is the actual Nintendo Digital Event. This way people looking back at E3 will think "How did E3 started ? Whith Nintendo SSB Direct, and how did E3 ended ? With Nintendo's Treehouse right after Nintendo's Digital Event" so yeah, it makes feel like there will be a lot of stuff, even if there won't be (but I'm positive it will)
