^you jump into the game right away. Whoever says otherwise is talking nonsense.
Also, take this advice if you play it : Don't try to play the game with Battle mode set on "active" the first time (by default is wait).
A strategy guide or some in-depth walktrough from gamefaqs could be helpful too, specially for obtaining the best items you get collecting rare stuff monsters drop or you steal from them.
