for me it's a reasonable reason, why? because ps consoles are the only console that have sold over 80m, which shows me consistency over a period of 3 generations and you and I know ps4 will sell at least 80m. Nintendo consoles are difficult to predict because of the Wii that went out of the curve but every nintendo console has been in declining if you take out Wii in the equation. So unless nintendo bring another hit, it will sell in the range of 20m-40m, maybe 50m max. You can't compare nintendo consoles with sony consoles because again ps consoles has shown consistency, nintendo consoles doesn't. A generation being up or down hasn't affected in any way whatsoever a ps consoles sales. last gen what the highest and still sold over 80m. Ps1 era wasn't all that great and still sold over 80m. PS2 was more or less good and still sold over 80m. There will be a declining this gen and will still sell 80m
