The only time a remaster isn't done right is when it doesn't look or perform better than the original.
Pricing is irrelevant to whether it is done "right." You are not forced to purchase them and since they are remastered versions you could probably just wait for an inevitable price drop.
I also have to take issue with time being a factor on a remaster being done "right." Why is something as arbitrary as time an issue? Does a remaster coming out for another system somehow ruin the experience you had playing it on your first gaming system?
As long as the product is good and people feel it is worth paying whatever they decide to charge for it then it is done "right."
Also I voted a resounding "No."
