He was wrong in saying that FF XIII Versus and FFXV are 2 separate games and that FF XIII Versus will be absolutely released in 2014. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=47013591&postcount=1895 2. In that same post, he states that GGs' new IP will be revealed within the next few months. That was in June 2013. 2. He was wrong in saying that KH will be released on PS4 in 2014 and that it will not be KH3. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=58658473&postcount=3074 In that same post, he lists a number of features that PS Plus will have, none of which have been true. 3. In September 2013, he says that Sony has exclusives games coming from these developers: - Sega - Capcom - Level-5 - Namco Bandai - Lockstarter (lol) - Lazyeye (lol) - Warner Bros. - Koei Close to 2 years in, where are these? http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=79992793&postcount=392 4. In 2013, he also hinted at another Sony mascot brawler: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=61040485&postcount=10141 and again in 2014: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134834713&postcount=61 5. In 2013, another Sly Cooper: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=68177156&postcount=41 6. A month before Dragon's Dogma Online is announced, he says that a home console MH is coming. Of course, a couple of months earlier, rumours of a DD2 were already flying. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=144389125&postcount=80 7. Better yet - where's that FF7 Remake? That was supposed to be at the PS Experience iirc. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=142521175&postcount=2037 8. Or all those megatons that would have been announced at the PS Experience last year? In his own words, "It'll be a better Sony event than the others this year for sure, and in general, a really good weekend since the TGAs are happening too. I'm actually quite eager to see that show too. I mentioned earlier in this thread that the Experience is pretty much going to be one of the biggest SCE will ever do, and that's true in every sense of the word." 9. Where are those Sony JRGs that he's been hyping for the past 2 years: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=65162306&postcount=335 I'm sure there's a lot more. |
So most of your things he's gotten "wrong" are either things that haven't happened yet, things to do with the release schedule of SE (really?) and generally things he either hasn't said or you feel different about.
He didn't say Versus XIII and XV and will be 2 different projects and are you seriously going to blame him for that game missing another deadline? After it happened who knows how many times already?
Regarding FF VII how about you stick with what he actually said instead of making things up?:
"And no, this isn't what I referred to a year ago. I think that should be apparent considering what I've said in the past, but let's clarify here for the last time. Firstly, for a little clarification since I haven't said this before, but the FF7 project doesn't necessarily refer to just one game. The core of it will end up being a proper home console game and that's going to be the main thing, but it's basically a visit back to the FF7 world again, and there'll likely be a few things surrounding that. A large part of their discussion is likely surrounding this point."
The dude that said a FF VII remake would be announced at PSX was not him, that was TheWorthyEdge
He also didn't say that there would be tons of megatons at Sonys event, but that the event, THE WHOLE EVENT, is going to be the biggest SCE will ever do.
And one of those JRPGs, the one that will melt the core, is actually already out: It's called Bloodborne.

Read his post - it's clear that he mentions Versus XIII and FFXV as 2 different projects. That's a dead give away.
About the FF7 remake, here's what he says:
"It's happening."
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=101145962
If he changed his tune after that, I can't say I'm surprised.
About the PSX, he hyped it to the heavens and nothing came out of it.
As for Bloodborne, it's not a JRPG, it's an action game with RPG elements. Nobody ever qualifies it as a JRPG.
Also, here are 12 of his other "leaks":
