As per the chart they released the last XCOM on consoles and they didn't botch it up, they've just been PC centric and as the chart shows they've released on PC and the other OS's more than consoles, i honestly don't see the problem.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
