It's been a year and a half and already I'd say the games released are arguably better than this point in time on ps3.

ps3:
uncharted, resistance, gt:p, ratchet and clank, warhawk, folklore...

compared to...
infamous second son, killzone shadowfall, driveclub, LBP3, bloodborne, last of us, knack, the order
seriously?

EDIT: How did you trade your ps4 away after playing all the games you wanted?!?
I have a stack of games I haven't even finished yet. Every day I get more and more worried that too many games are coming out and I won't have time for all of them. Parallel universes, man, I'm telling you.

You're forgetting quite a few game

s and given  that Last of Us was an upscale from PS3, I personally wouldn't count it but to each his own.

If we were to extend the comparison to the middle of the month, the list would look something like this.

PS3- Uncharted,  Resistance, MGS:IV, Ratchet & Clank, Motorstorm,  Folklore,  Valkrie Chronicles,  Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden: Sigma, Warhawk, GT5: P, Ridge Racer 7, Unreal Tournament 4 (timed exclusive)

PS4 -Infamous:SS, Killzone 4, Knack, Driveclub, LBP3 (another upscale), The Order, Bloodborne, The Last Of Us, MLB:14.

Imho, PS3 line up was more more impressive.

lol why are you including third party games??
I could easily have included third party games as well in the ps4 lineup. IMO none of those games even compares to a fucking demo that is now unavailable.

And what 3rd party exclusives would that be? Please don't tell me you're one of those people who counts indie games on PSN as real exclusives.... Also PD was great but for me personally,  it's absurd to consider it better than the PS3 games listed.

You're using goalposts. The whole point of the thread was about what Sony is doing for support of the console. You're saying it's ok to use third party exclusives but not indies, and no multiplats.

Just even based on multiplats alone there are far more higher rated games to play on ps4.

Just because your very specific criteria (which doesn't even follow the thread argument) fits better, other criteria fit the ps4 better. Multiplats, total number of games, better first party exclusives, better indies, more media content, etc. Using such an specific metric would be like saying ps3 is superior because it supported pc to console streaming....for some individuals, yes, that makes a world of difference. For others, not so much.

Because there is so much room to debate which criterion is best from personal perspectives, it's best to just stick with the narrative of the OP, which is that humble Sony did more for the ps3 than "arrogant sony" is doing for the ps4. In terms of first party software, the simple answer is no. PS4 first party exclusives are quite a cut above the ps3's.
