What squence is this referring to? Does he mean the first gameplay sequence we saw of the game, where Noctis wears a toxedo in a sky-scrapper and things starts to blow up?

We knew so little about the game that people dont even know what hes talking about

That trailer showed us one thing though. It showed us that we could have had a scene/scenes(?) where we could have had control of the character while also having this cinematic events in the same scene with environments being destroyed and stuff a la Uncharted 2. Hopefully we will see some events like this in the FFXV storyline cuz those scenes could help the game and it's places to feel more alive and affected by the progress in storyline.

That's a shame. I didn't care that much for that sequence except for one thing: The Yoshitaka Amano painting that was included in that scene. Here's hoping we'll get to see it somewhere else. =(

I think in OP it says that the attack happens after the gang leaves the city so maybe the dinner or party or whatever actually happens, you see your painting, they leave, and the attack happens.

Worst case scenario you can revisit the trailer for consolation.
