That is a very good false equivalency. Yes, let's compare a game to another game that is not even in the same genre nor does it appeal to the same fanbase.

Another goal post that has been moved! I proved to you that launch of a console has little and sometimes no effect on how much a game sells then you say "muh genre" or "muh fanbase".  If people loved GT so much they would've bought GT6 regardless of a new console. Same with COD. People love COD so they bought the next COD game on ps3/360 despite the ps4/x1 launch.
