He goes on to confirm that the exclusivity deal between Microsoft and Rise publisher Square Enix "has a duration" and that they don't own the rights to the game in perpetuity. He declined to say how long that duration will be, though.

He doesn't own tomb raider, but he does have the rights to rise of tomb raider. That is why it won't show up on PS4 unless Square enix buys that specific game back. Also, every deal and contracts have duration. The duration could be 99 years for all you know.
