But that has absolutely NOTHING to do with what games they choose to play ...
The "Hard-Core" and "Casual" gamers represent the two extremes in a spectrum of a person's dedication (for lack of a better word) towards gaming; you can have a very "Hard-Core" social gamer who owns Mario Party 8 (as well as dozens of party games) and puts 40 hours a week playing these games with friends, and you can have a very "Casual" "Mature" gamer who will buy Grand Theft Auto 4 and put 2 hours per week into it for the next several months.
