I think a factor with P4G on PSV selling very well is because of a complete lack of other games. Any store that has a Vita section only has a small selections of games so no doubt a considerable sum of purchases could be a case of people saying "wth is this? Meh sure why not?" or seeing any list of PSV games with P4G being ranked as a 90+ Metacritic game.

I bought it for that reason, I had no clue what the game was about other than it was "Vita's best game" :D

But... did you enjoy it? and will you get the 5th one?

I did. I had no clue what P4G was and bought it only for its scores, didn't play it for a long time, and when I did, I stopped after a few hours because it wasn't really interesting (the story takes time to start). When I played again a few months later, I played 60-70 hours in 5 days, and since I bought P4 Arena, P4 Ultimax, Persona 3, Persona Q and I will take P4 DAN (I also watched the anime). And of course, I will buy P5, with preorder and collector if possible.

So no, P4G is not selling because of a lack of other games, it deserves its scores and its sales, and I'm sure P5 will deserve the same things.
