980Ti worth it?

If your not 4k gaming, a 980 should be enough (heck a 980 is also build for 4k gaming). But, if you even plan on 4k gaming, then yes a 980ti is a good idea. You can look at some 4k gaming benchmarks here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GGvvjmb5L4

It is a few % less poweful than a titan X, but its also 350$ cheaper. Plus, you can OC the GPU, and that should help with some problems with 4k gaming on a single card.

 

Edit: I see your not into 4k gaming. However, its only 150$ more expensive than a 980, and its much more powerful. So I think you should go for the 980ti.
