Why do Zelda Console games take 5 years to develop.... ?

I guarantee Zelda U was NOT delayed for the reasons they indicated-

The problem is that they are giving a bad perception. Rather than new content this gen we have only get remakes. For someone new to the franchise it could be good, but for Zelda fans, like me, it has been a boring gen.
