See I like that it's slightly behind the Titan X but I find that because it;s slightly better than a 980 but behind a Titan X to be annoying when it comes to pricing because now the 980ti is the middle child that will be out of people's reach but won't exactly be as amazing as the older brother, I expect Nvidia to have it priced much higher than the regular 980 price at say £700-800, to which I will say "feck off" and wait until nvidia releses another line or two to price it down to a comfortable £300-400, or until AMD brings their A game and forces Nvidia to clamp down further on their prices.
Honestly I just want the 980ti to start out quite cheap if not near the same price as the 980, you;d get it flying off the shelves instead of dangling it up high like a carrot on a stick in the hopes you'll get the super impatient enthustiasts to bite first then dangle the carrot lower to get the rest to bite, just let us all have a bite and you;d get more money, having it start out high just means I'll suffer the waiting time and simply upgrade to a different GPU and forget your brand spanking new one, hell I should probably wait for AMD since Nvidia is starting out slightly powerfull but costing more, not in the mood for playing that game for the new few years.
Also Linus review of the 980ti, well slight review I'd think imo:
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
