This has always been my gripe with the Persona series, you pretty much know theyll release an expanded version with extra story elements to it after the original release. Original P3 and P4 are great games and the story is conclusive but you cant help but feel theres something left unexplained in there. And them comes the expanded versions and they ofer a true endding (wich is not realy a different ending, its like an epilogue chapter, so you get original ending + "true ending" and only if you complete some rather hard to do stuf during the main game) and you realise why. However the game is phenomenal even in its original form, P4 is one of the best JRPGs I ever played and so is P3. Golden and FES versions only make these games more awesome, wich is why I said that if you had a way to play P4 Golden rather than standard P4 you should play Golden and that its a good thing you have P3 FES instead of standard P3.
Dont worry too much youll love P4 anyway Im sure of it.
