TLOU being 60fps wouldn't have improved the AI though, would it? It'd likely have simply degrading the quality of the stuff that did impress me (and potentially made the AI worse). I value that stuff more than 60fps. It's as simple as that. And as i said, being 30fps doesn't ensure you excel at everything, it just gives you more freedom. As for the drips, i already covered that: "I wouldn't have minded a slight visual downgrades for a more stable frame-rate on the PS3 version, but outside of the school bus area, the drops were never much of an issue for me. They probably would have been in Uncharted, but not in TLOU."

As for the last point, that wouldn't be a particularly difficult to achieve. TLOU:R looks fairly nice, but it's ultimately still a PS3 game. There are other 1080p/60fps PS4 games that surpass its environment detail already (such as Metro: Redux).

No. I disagree. Having played and finished several times both games. TLOU:R is still one of the best technical 1080p60fps achievement on PS4 IMO, along with MGS Ground Zeroes (which is open-world-ish) and maybe COD AW which is 1080p60fps rock solid in MP.

TLOUR has revamped high resolution textures, same as Metro, but contrary to Metro, TLOUR has 16xAF pretty much everywhere and high poly models for its characters (pretty much the models from the PS3 cutscenes) plus much more details, variety of textures and assets than Metro Redux overall, not even a contest seriously.

Metro Redux is really good technically for a mutliplatform game (and both Metro are great games), but still behind those 3 games.
