I loved the testfires. I've watched a ton of videos. I wanted this game so badly, but I'm so strapped for cash that I just couldn't justify paying full price for it. I went back and forth on the issue so many times, until finally, last night, I said to heck with it. I would go to bed, and first thing in the morning I would head right to Best Buy and pick it up. So I woke up...
And my finger hurt a lot. Instead of Best Buy, I went to the clinic directly across the street, where the doctor said I had an old, previously-unknown fracture that was randomly flaring up, and he wrapped my hand in a brace that will be there for at least ten days.
I was so close, guys. So darn close.
So think of me the next time you splat someone.
