Yep!  I played the Witcher 2 for a couple hours and just got to bored to boot it up again.

WARNING:  The Souls Series ruins  most other action RPG's for you because they have VASTLY inferior combat systems.  Only other RPG I can play is Skyrim.

Really? Skyrim doesn't even have a proper combat system, it lacks any proper feedback of feel, it's the fighting equivalent of an arcade racer imo.

That said; the combat in the Souls series really is fantastic.

Yeah, TES games are not well known for their combat, it's as basic as they come. Still very good games (specially Morrowind) for many different reasons, which is, I'm afraid, something that seems a lot of people who compare everything to Souls don't quite get - strength of RPGs, especially of open-world variety, does not rely strictly on combat, since there are many examples of fantastic RPGs that have...let's say, 'acquired taste' combat.

That said, I'm finding combat in Witcher 3 very satisifying - though I prefer heavier feel of games like Severance: Blade of Darknesss (which, IMO has better combat than Souls), whether it's (depending on situation and type/number of enemies) slow stand-off or frenzied duck and slash affair, so far, I've never thought 'this is not very good', which I had few times even in Gothic (btw, I still find it to be, overall, better than W3).
