Ruler said: The Xbox One has no games so far and will continiue having no Major releases until at the very end of September when Halo 5 comes out. Thats 9 entire Months with no games. Yet if Sony delivers games like Bloodborne, Order, Until Dawn until august and comes in a situation where they have a drought for 3 months people are so disspointed about Sony and saying this and that. Even before E3 has started. Yet where is the same critisim for MS having no games for 9 entire Months? |
First point, 'Xbox One has no games'? Really? I have been playing the following since launch (exclusives followed by non-exclusives); Forza Motorsport 5, Halo MCC (which is 4 games in one), Titanfall, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Horizon 2 Fast and Furious, Project Spark, Powerstar Golf, Max The Curse of Brotherhood, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfighter, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Rayman Legends, Child of Light, Worms Battlegrounds and PoolNationFX (The games I can think of, maybe more). - So, your first point is ridciulous.
Just because MS doesn't release 'no games for 9 months', doesn't mean there are 'no games to play for 9 months'. I am still well and truely wrapped up in Horizon 2, Titanfall and Sunetset Overdrive because they are big games with long reply value. If MS release 4 games during the holiday (for example), what difference does it make if they release them all at once or one every 3 months? You still have the same amount of content to play? For example, Horizon 2 was released last fall, but it is such a big and fun game that I am still playing it, the last thing I need is another game to play.
Your third point... games like The Order and Until Dawn don't have long replay value for a start, so soon after their release everyone has completed them and wants something new. Plus, they are all in a similar genre (horror). I do not personally like horror games, so from my personal perspective Sony have released nothing that I want to play for quite a whilte, the last games was Driveclub.
