First this thread is for humor sake so I hope you are not taking these things seriously. They are just devious suggestions meant for entertainment purposes. I am surprised you think this particular one is the illegal one while drugging dozens of other people is not. That would actually be very dangerous.

The one your sighting is pretty sadistic, and morally reprehensible. However its not illegal, and most people would gladly take the beating. After they got done suing their assailant, and having them carted off to jail. They would then get to go after the retailer for creating an unsafe situation. The police couldn't actually do anything to you either unless you were very loud or very profane. They need proof of a crime, and they have the most vital record of all your drivers license which indicates you have no children.

Yes I have seen this particular stunt performed, and nobody will say or do anything. Disturbing as it is you can actually get away with saying almost anything in public and the vast majority of people will just grin and bare it. People will even watch a thoroughly drunk person get behind the wheel of a car filled with children, and will just look the other way. I have actually seen this one on two separate occasions, and actually was berated for reporting someone by my employer for doing so on one occasion.
