it is to shooters what mario kart is to racers
and due to the unique features i think we're going to experience some pretty dang awesome gameplay eg. hiding in the wall as a squid and jumping out and fragging someone in the back, stuff like that. the style is also very cool, it's reminiscent of jet grind radio
lastly, consider all of the gear. never underestimate the addictiveness of amassing gear/loot. i think the only downside will be the lack of maps/modes which is a good problem for a game to have - you want more of it
