My suggestion is to step outside your comfort zone and play something diffrent. When I get bored I try a new series and it works most of the time.
A recent example is my time with GROWLANSER. Went on a JRPG hiatus just due to the abundance of been there, done that games filling the genre, but GL really invigorated my JRPG lust now im looking for the next one play.
