Currently, it sits at #4 on Amazon US, which sounds fantastic, but then you look at #5, which is Bloodborne that released two months ago and #6 which is Destiny for One that released about 8 months ago. Why am I using Amazon US? It's by far the biggest market and it is also where people will have to pay more to get the same game for some reason, I also think that this might be the region that will hurt first week potential the most due to this. I wish people would stop with the Amazon stuff; baby seals are dying by the hundreds. Seriously though; it should do pretty well, there is a huge marketing push. What I'm more concerned about is longevity, whether people will still be playing this a lot in a year or so, this will be a massive decided when it comes to the game's legs since it won't do to have new customers join an online community that isn't active and if the game fails to sell really well over the first few months, this community won't be very big to begin with. So, I'm thinking a good first month, followed by a rather slow summer and a decent holiday and then all but gone next year. |
To be fair, the games you listed got substantial price cuts recently, so it's not like they're just chilling at the top for no reason.
