The PS4 has done a fantastic job to appealing to consumers with weak 1st party games. Kudos to Sony.

Every single 1st part studio Sony has is working on games for the PS4.

And so has microsoft. Numbers wise, the PS4 has more exlcusives on it than the Xbox one but I am guessing you are conveniently ignoring that fact. 

Also, people need to realise that 3rd party games are what sell consoles. The 1st party games just cater to the hardcore.

Quanity isn't the issue for Sony's 1st party games thus far, its the quality. Don't we expect better from the company known for making the best exclusives? :-p

Anyhow, I'm sure Sony will get it together eventually. But man, its rather disappointing thus far.

Microsoft isn't faring any better so far either. Great games are coming, but right now the only great exclusive first party titles they have are Forza Horizon 2 and Killer Instinct. That's not much.
