I disliked FF12, i found the story and the characters very bad, the battles system was ok at best. But the worst part of the game was the midget he/she kid thing, i have no idea what it was. I put 130hours into the game.
I have not played many RPG's, one on the N64, FF9, FF10, FF10-2, FF12 and Star ocean on the PS2. I then went back and played FF3 on the DS and FF4 or FF6 on the SNES, the one that all the fanboys love.
My favorite RPG is FFX i played it for over 330 hours, great story, good weapons and fun battles and great CG scenes, i loved Blitzball, and FF12 had no good mini games. I never liked the older FF games i played, no voice work, which i grew to like with modern RPG games, along with the CG scenes.
