u missed the point
they make that conclusion based on the fact, the xb1 is not outsold by 50k or more anymore in the slow months
last year, sony made up the lead from january - october and xb won november and decmeber by a decent margin
this year, sony will maybe lead form january - october, too, but the lead could be as low as ~100k overall units (ytd not ltd)
last year january - march gap was 217k in favour of ps4 with titanfall xb1 release
this year january - march gap is only 238k in favour of ps4 with bloodbourn and the order release
this year, xb1 won april and will probably win may, too (june is in ps4 hand likely)
last year, the xb1 got outsold by another 158k units in april + may
this year the ps4 don't have the destiny bundle
batman and mgsV won't do the same for the ps4 this year, the thirst and destiny did last year
salesgap into november was over 1 million last year
this won't happen again in 2015
