Following my recent exploration of Konami classics, I just finished my first MGS game (because Ground Zeroes doesn't count) with Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. Absolutely fantastic game. I completely get where the love for this franchise comes from, and I absolutely can not wait to play Kojima's swan song with The Phantom Pain.

Kojima really is a genius.

Also, the cutscenes weren't nearly as invasive as people made them out to be. They were only really bad in the very beginning and towards the end when your leading up to the last few bosses.

Had my endorsement for "greatest game of all time" for several years! Glad you enjoyed it.  Eater eggs galore, too.
