Except parts of Nintendo's release plan could potentially have a negative impact on the longevity of the game. Map rotations for example are a terrible idea... There's very little reason to justify them and it only serves to further restrict the already limited content that exists.

i still havnt played enough to agree ot disagree to that.

Playing often the same map again dont have to be a bad thing.

I can just name Counter Strike Source as an example again. Everybody played 30 rounds on one map and mostly this map was Dust_2.

I have to admit that it maybe doesnt make much sense in splatoon (spexial on launch) scince your teammate are all random so you cant develop/use new tactics for each team you play the same map over and over again (like its possible in CSS on Dust2). But you can change your equipment and weapon related to the current available maps, so this could also be some sort of tactics.

I dont say your wrong, i just wouldnt jjudge about this mechanics before i tried them ;)
