So what do you care more about? a "just good" score on metacritic or to wait 2 more month and the possibilty for a shorter lifespan of the game?
I will always take the scond choice so im really happy what nintendo did.

Except parts of Nintendo's release plan could potentially have a negative impact on the longevity of the game. Map rotations for example are a terrible idea... There's very little reason to justify them and it only serves to further restrict the already limited content that exists.
