That is so not true.
Look at the latest bonus round on GT. Woman said Morpheus made her sick.

Also, you are only hearing good things for the same reason you would only hear good things about the Kinect before it came out. The flow of information is beeing controlled. Even though she was sick, the woman on the video proceeds to say how its really good tech, even though she obviously didnt like it. No one wants to be that person that said bad things about it. Companies have alot of money riding on it and if you are raining in their parade they will probably blacklist you.
As for the mass market, nah. Its not like its a party device. It wont have the outreach that a kinect or Wii had. Its a hardcore device. Its only going to appeal to that segment. Its a peripheral on a console. How many of those did you see suceed? It slashes the userbase and has lower software sales.
This is added to all the unpleasentries it comes with. I just dont get where you guys are seeing this dream. There isnt even compelling software for it yet.

You keep saying it's not ready for market, but you haven't really given a good reason as to why. You just said it's uncomfortable and ugly, one of which you would have no idea about because you've never worn the headset and both of which run counter to the opinions of the people who have actually used it. |
I dont know how to tell you this... but the Morpheus does look ugly and clunky. Its a huge, unconfortable looking, heavy looking piece of hardware that you wear in your face. It makes you look like a dork and will probably strain your neck, harm your vision on long on long term or simply make you motion sick. You are so into it you can't even see it.
