Also I wouldn't read too much into it personally. If someone in China wants an Xbox One they will either import which is cheaper, or buy online, which is cheaper. 

This RRP is just that, an RRP. 

So it's kinda like the UK RRP where you can get one cheaper than that at most places anyways. Well, it's still better than MS doing nothing I guess.

 

Yeh that's a good way to put it really in terms of local sales. 

But importing is still very big in China. Especially as PS4 and X1 came out a long time after US. Plus it's still cheaper to import in some cases. 


Too bizare to import a product made at your country and even more grotesque is it being cheaper and better than what is officially available.
