""Hori has also said they dont do multiplats as they like to focus on making the best game they can without worrying about a bunch of specs."

Explain DQX being on 3 platforms  and PC then, DQX has sold in total almost as many total PS4s sold in Japan.

The only reason DQX is on many platforms is because its an MMO, it can't survive just being on one platform and there has to be a PC version of a MMO game.

And the first weeks sales of DQX on Wii U was just 33k compared to the total which was 400k so that last comment doesn't even make sense.

Explain why DQX is on Wii, Wii U and 3DS, DQX in total has sold around 1.2m only 100k short of the total number of PS4s sold in Japan not rocket science to understand the comment, the numbers are on this very site, if it has sold 400k on Wii U as you say then the numbers on this site are undertracked and the game has more copies sold on then the are PS4s sold in Japan, it's a response to the guy acting as if DQ is solely a PS franchise.

Fact is it goes against the whole multiplatform thoery, the's a PC version yes but also two console versions and a handheld version, what's funny is that the original post got things wrong the reason for concetrating on one platform was actually so the whole fanbase would reach it, the whole focusing on one specs thing was a secondary. Just because he said one thing in the past doesn't mean it'll stick as the market changes, DQIX highlighted this as did DQX, if anything I can see 3 console version PS3/PS4/Wii U as the fanbase is split evenly across them.
