GT6 had the cell. From what they've described this is a CPU bottleneck, not even dropping the resolution would help. The only way out is for them to rewrite the code but they obviously dont feel its worth it and I dont blame them. The same code works great on 3 platforms so Nintendo shouldnt expect devs to bend over backwards to accomodate their unconventional hardware choices.
