Remember people saying Dragon Quest, at least the main games, have always been released on whatever system was most popular in Japan,and yes that was the case.
DQ 1-6 -- NES and SNES
DQ7 -- PS1
DQ8 -- PS2
DQ9 -- DS
Nowadays, Japan is all about mobile gaming, so if it´s true DQ11 is to be released on a home console, color me surprised and happy.
